Compendium - Classes and Races - Rashani
From World of Dungeons - Enzykloplaedia
The few people who have lived in the fields of Rashon are known to be robust and dynamic, as well as attentive. The Partan regard the over-use of power as stupid and unnecessary. They are able to adapt to many situations, and are formidable ranged as well as magical adversaries.
Their overt realism prevents them from believing in the supernatural. This prevents them from using magery to an extent, but from time to time a Partan emerges that has passable magical skills.
A group is a necessity of life for a Partan, and this causes them to be a bit more open to social attacks.
